Abernethy Golf Club<\/a> is a traditional Highland Golf Course which was\u00a0founded in 1893, built on natural moorland, and surrounded by majestic pine trees, offering a great variety of shot making for the low handicapper or casual visitor. The small and fast greens are the most undulating and tricky in the Valley. The Abernethy Forest lies on its boundary and from many parts of the course there are splendid views of Strathspey<\/p>\n

You may not have been to a golf course like Craggan before. \u00a0It is\u00a0a 14\u00a0hole course of 1678 yards to suite every type of player from the complete beginner to the accomplished player,\u00a0with a par of 42, it may not be the longest, but while being short enough for the beginner to enjoy, it also sets a difficult challenge for the experienced golfer. \u00a0They have equipment for hire. If time is important to you then Craggan is your course, take as little as one and a half hours for a round and give\u00a0the 18 hole putting green a try while you are there.<\/p>\n

A parkland and woodland course which has been moulded around the natural contours of the land and so offers few man made hazards, but many natural ones.
