the\u00a0beautiful Village\u00a0of Boat of Garten. This opens up a wide variety of activities and tourist attractions that everyone will enjoy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">There are many tourist attractions in and around\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.visitaviemore.com\/\">Aviemore\u00a0<\/a>and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/cairngorms.co.uk\/\">Cairngorms National Park<\/a>, including the multiple whiskey distileries that can be visited, as well as the nature parks and reindeer parks. There is also the option of visiting the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.strathspeyrailway.co.uk\/\">Strathspey Steam Railway<\/a>, which opened in 1863 and with a chance to ride the train, this is a very popular place to visit during your stay.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:justify;\">Walking the Speyside Way<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The Boat House Guesthouse is on the popular\u00a0long distance walking route\/path &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.speysideway.org\/\">The Speyside Way<\/a>&#8221; which starts in Buckie and ends in Aviemore, passing through Ballindalloch\u00a0and with an option of the cut in at Tomintoul, there are numerous whiskey distilleries along the way, as well as castles, golf courses and smoke houses.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:justify;\">The River Spey<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/River_Spey\">River Spey<\/a>\u00a0passes through the village here, it is one of the top salmon rivers in Scotland and also one of the best in Europe for sea trout and brown trout. A\u00a0day ticket can be purchased from the Boat of Garten Post Office,as well as a week or season pass, they also stock bait too. The river also offers other activities such as kayacking,canoeing etc.<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align:justify;\">Skiing<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify;\">We are 20-25 mins drive from\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cairngormmountain.org\/\">Cairngorm Mountain<\/a>\u00a0and ski area and around 30 to 40 mins from the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lecht.co.uk\/\">Lecht<\/a>\u00a0ski area.
