The Boat House Guesthouse<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The Boat House Guesthouse is a beautiful large white detached house on the main street in the centre of the lovely Village of Boat of Garten (not to be mistaken for “The Boat Hotel” located on the same street). We are a family run guesthouse near Aviemore and situated within the Cairngorm National Park.<\/p>\n

We are an ideal base for your stay in the Cairngorms and Aviemore areas, we are situated in the centre of the peaceful and quaint Highland Village of Boat of Garten (The Osprey Village<\/a>). We are just a short walk from the Boat of Garten Golf Course<\/a>, a few minutes from some picturesque forest walks<\/a> and five minutes from the famous Strathspey Steam Railway<\/a>.<\/p>\n

reindeer centre<\/a>We are a five minute drive to The Osprey Centre<\/a>, ten minutes from Aviemore and fifteen minutes from Grantown on Spey. There is plenty to see within a short distance of us including castles<\/a>, lochs<\/a>, wildlife park<\/a>, whiskey distillers<\/a> and a reindeer centre.<\/p>\n

For those who are more hands on, there are plenty of activities in and around the area including skiing<\/a>, walking<\/a>, climbing<\/a>, birdwatching<\/a>, golfing<\/a>, fishing<\/a>, shooting,<\/a> watersports<\/a> – canoeing<\/a>, rafting<\/a> etc, dog sledding<\/a> and an adventure park<\/a>, the list goes on!<\/p>\n
